In the hall space of the former brewhouse of the Holešovice brewery we are building two floors of galleries with a central hall inspired by the Mexican traditional house – casa.
Guests will enjoy an architecturally unusual experience when the multi-framed, illuminated, golden staircase refers to the history of Mexico in the Mayan era. The blending of the restaurant space with the original kitchen will also be unusual and interesting, where tortillas, tacos, grilled dishes and wood-fired ovens will be baked right in front of guests. In the fish tank area, ceviche will also be prepared in front of guests, with the ingredients almost at their fingertips. The kitchen, as well as the large cocktail bar and upstairs patisserie, feature authentic form and materials, including a drinks display case extending over the bar into another walkway.
The Latin American atmosphere is underlined by a combination of references to historical civilisations that are also intrinsic to Mexican culture, perhaps the colonial spirit in the monumental symmetry and the proverbial raw atmosphere of the Mexican street, which is primarily made up of purpose and decorated just as time has brought it…
